The lack of food and proper nutrition remains to be problematic in Uganda, specifically in the rural areas. Because of the extreme poverty Uganda's children do not receive enough food to meet the basic nutritional requirements for good health. When children are not able to eat, they cannot concentrate and school work becomes difficult for them.

Our school program provides perhaps the only meal that these children get that day. 

Currently Home of Champions provides over 17,000 meals each month to their students.
