2007: A Year of Accomplishments
In 2007, Possibilities Unlimited Worldwide realized three major goals for the Uganda Children.
In order to become independent and productive, these villages require the most basic of needs. One such program to provide sustainability was the establishment of the Agricultural Program. Through this program, we were able to provide a new tractor, goats and chickens that will serve as a continual food source and help with farming.
Another necessity for proper living conditions is to have electricity. With the remote location of these villages, electrical lines were unheard of. By incorporating the natural resource of sunshine with technology, the local orphanage was able to experience the simple luxury of electricity through the use of new solar panels.
Of course, none of these achievements would have been possible without the manpower to support these efforts. 2007 saw the establishments of two teams working in Uganda.
With 2007's success, we look forward to even more aid being provided to those most in need.
